Three: My opinion of Money for Happiness

Money for Happiness

For many of us , we always had a thought of using our money to buy happiness and so we use that as a motivation to try and succeed in the future but we never think about the possibility of this happening. In my personal opinion, money will never buy us all the happiness we need because it can’t buy us a real relationship with others , it will also not fix previous mistakes and it wouldn’t fix any mistake that we did with the money. Let me explain more to you.

Like I was mentioning , a major reason why money wouldn’t buy us happiness is because money cannot buy us a real relationship . Money cannot help us find real friends who would stand by you even if you lose all the money or even a woman who would love you forever . Having a lot of money may get us huge houses and get us many of our favorite things , our social part of life would never be bought by money I say that is because if we buy a friendship, the “friends”of ours wouldn’t be a trustworthy or loyal one , they would just be a fake ones who just use your money to get whatever they want . Although we might feel nothing but behind our back they wouldn’t be what we think they are . Same for a relationship with a woman , we might fall in love but they will just see you as a money bank to buy whatever they want . Even if the relationship is real they might even leave you because of your ego with all those money.

Some of you might argue how we can use the money to buy out or fix the mistakes we’ve done but to be honest , you are wrong. Let me ask you something about what would you prefer ? A person apologies and fix the mess they did or a person giving you money and leave without any word ? Usually when we made a mistake we would either apologies or fix it and doing these would make other feel better or understand that the mistake isn’t forced or other . They would have a better understanding and these would make us seem like a nice person did a minor mistake . It would make they have a easier trust . However when we give them money to fix any mistakes it might fix the actual mistake but it wouldn’t fix the harm we did to others .Even if they do the relationship between them would decrease.

Let me ask you a question. If a person hurt your feelings and break your trust , can money fix the problem? To many of us it wouldn’t be a yes . A quote that I love is “ Money might be used to fix your mistake but trust is almost impossible to fix or buy so make mistake but don’t break trust .” So we need that understand that money couldn’t buy the emotions of people and their trust to us . Trust is fragile emotion that we have and it is hard to fix so we shouldn’t think that money can fix other people’s feelings and trust to you .

For all who thinks after being a rich person we can get our happiness ,we need to understand that the journey to get those money would sacrifice all our child hood . Many of us who follow this dream may not understand that our childhood is the happiest we would ever be in our life because we can get everything we want that is useful or even useless to us .Our childhood is the time we explore new places , get new friends , try new things and even annoy our parents to get whatever we want . Those are the time that we learn from our mistakes and we go through life and understand the possibility and even fix mistakes that we wouldn’t do in the future and those are the time we would need to enjoy the most out of .

I hope most of you who are reading or listening to this understand more about the reason why money would buy us much of our happiness. For all the adults , I suggest to teach your child about this and let them enjoy the childhood even if they are using all your money and for all the child , enjoy your first half of your life and make mistake and learn more .

Further Explanations:

     This topic I wrote came up in a class i went to before, it had made me interested in the topic and so i written my opinion in it. Many people had discussion between if money that we earn affect our emotions. My opinion was that it does in certain circumstances as such.

      Money give us what we call temporary / momentary happiness. This type of emotion is portray just as a short term and not long. Yes money can buy us objects which give us short term satisfaction. An example is that after long years you finally can purchase your dream car, Tesla as such. It gives you the satisfactory, the hunger that you have for that Car you wanted, However it might cause you pain in the long run since it can put you in debt or even a better and newer car get published and your car had went out of style.

     Second point is that money cannot buy you things like affection or true love and friends. Money ha a limitation where things you can buy, however you can buy like girlfriend and fake friends, the down side to that is that the negative effect it brings you. The thing affect your mental health and the worse thing is that when you finally cant afford, unlike real friends, they will leave your life until you can pay them again. Sure you can buy female/ male worker to give you affection for you but as i mentioned before, it will just be a mere temporary satisfaction.

     In the end, i think everyone should always understand the extent money can bring you, the problem it can and cannot fix, the happiness you need and not what you think you need. Thank you for reading, I'll see you next week
